Lessons with Leaders

For January's edition of our Lessons with Leaders series, we flipped the mic around to our own Founder & CMO, Janet Rosseth with interviewer and Run Club regular Shelly Steitz of At Home Apartments! Janet recapped her full journey in multifamily, her passion for collaborating with and connecting marketers and vendors in the industry, and how this all led to founding Cadence Marketing Solutions. She touched on the importance of networking and connection in the industry, trends and changes she has observed and experienced in her 25+ year career, and tips for how to lead through positive influence rather than authority, and so much more. New Year Market Update

Our second Run Club LIVE session of the month consisted of a MN Real Estate Summit recap and discussing Janet's top 10 key takeaways from the event. We discussed where Minneapolis absorption, delivery, and demand rates fall in comparison to other large markets in the US, the current and forecasted concession landscape, some big areas of opportunity for 2024, and more! Vendor Spotlight:

For our third virtual session of the month, we welcomed special guest Nick Bacon of EliseAI to talk AI-powered nurturing from prospect to renewal. This was a collaborative conversation discussing the benefits and challenges of implementing AI into your multifamily tech stack, the importance of an efficient tech stack and areas of opportunity to make this happen. Lease-up Lab:

And finally, our fourth Run Club LIVE session this month was the second in our Lease-Up Labs series - a deep dive into the world of marketing new construction developments. We were joined by special guests Sam Serratore from Roers and Leif Berg from Trellis - both experts in lease-up projects across multiple asset types. This was a collaborative Q & A style session where we discussed the importance of organizing all the moving parts that come with marketing & launching new product - both market rate and affordable. Sam and Leif shared their learnings and insights into coordinating effective strategies, managing timelines, measuring success, and more! Couldn't make it, or want to reference back?
